Abortion is most commonly described as the ending of a pregnancy. Basically, in realistic terms, it's ending the life of a defenseless human being. People don't seem to understand the true meaning of abortion or pretend not to understand because it hurts to know the truth. I think everyone should be educated the true information behind abortion, especially the young teenage females who seem more often to practice this crime.
Those who seem to support abortion either do not fully understand what is actually happening to the child, or they have no respect for human life. What triggers my mind the most is those who support abortion always say, "The woman has the right to choose." Well logically they're wrong because they do not have a right to choose because it's not their body; they're harming a human being who cannot speak for him or herself.
The sad part is how someone can wake up in the morning living knowing that they ended another human life. Also, this person who had an abortions made a bad decision to get intimate with someone before they were ready to have a family and made the child pay for it.
Christian or non-Christian, I don't think it's that hard to understand that taking a life is wrong. Exodus 20:13 says, "Thou shall not kill."
In my opinion no one has the right to take someone's life away for any reason, whether it be you are angry, pregnant, or full of revenge. No one has the power to give life, so how can someone take life?
If people followed Exodus 13:14-"Thou shall not commit adultery," there would be no need for abortion because people would only have children out of wedlock.

You are stating a matter which is subject to a great deal of debate as one that is obvious. It is not obvious. Many religious traditions that value life highly and that oppose abortion in general do not regard a fetus at all stages as a "human being."
You must develop the argument and show us why what you assert -- that a fetus is a human being -- should be accepted by a reader with an open mind. After all, every human being I know breathes air and does not live inside of another human being. There are many other distinctions that could be made, especially the earlier you get during the gestation process.
The Catholic Church, in particular, resolves this by, as I understand it, positing a concept called "ensoulment" -- i.e., a fetus is a human being because at the time of conception, it has the full spiritual faculties of a human being. That may be a valid argument, but it requires the acceptance of no small amount of religious doctrine.
Do you see the problems I am getting at?
"When I was a child I thought as a child and I acted as a child" As a child if you made a mistake and could blame it on someone else you would and did.
There are so many issues that go into this argument that there is not enough time or space to cover them all.
1) Abortion is murder. I don't care if the Supreme Court of this land created this "right" out of thin air. It ends life. You can try to rationalize it but it doesn't change the fact.
2) The easy availability of abortion encourages a wanton and reckless lifestyle. When there are no consequences there is no govern on behavior. Most people in this world are NOT self-governed nor are they taught to be self-governed when people aren't watching.
3) Money is a giant factor. It costs a lot of cash to obtain an abortion and there are vultures out there just waiting to sweep down and profit from your misery.
4) Abortion cheapens life and reduces the child in the womb from precious to expendable. It takes it from priceless to expendable. I expect that it will be a forerunner to euthanasia. If we can take the life of the child in the womb why not then the "usleless" of society. People will mock this argument but it is based on the same premise as abortion.
Regarding a specific piece of legislation as it pertains to late-term abortions, can you imagine the outrage by PETA and other animal rights' groups if kittens were thrown into soiled utility rooms and left to die? Yet that is exactly what Christ Hospital in Chicago was doing to innocent, defenseless babies who somehow managed to survive abortions. Our President-Elect just couldn't bring himself to vote for the Born Alive Infant Protection Act to end this repugnant practice. Now that's pretty radical! Even the extremely liberal Senator Barbara Boxer voted for a similar measure at the federal level.
Life begins at conception; the advances in ultrasound technology prove it, which is why so many rabidly pro-abortion groups like Planned Parenthood don't want to tell teenaged girls and women the truth. It's a human life, not a blob of tissue. Then again, it's all a business to them!
If only our country would defend these precious souls with the same passion with which they defend dogs and cats. I love animals, but do not hold them in higher esteem than humans. Just another example of the downside of our current culture. And yes, I agree the lack of personal responsibility is a huge contributing factor.
In Kansas we have laws that late-term abortions are illegal but it's impossible to enforce the laws: http://kansasmeadowlark.com/2006/ShameOfKansas/index.htm.
Our Supreme Court has a far-left bias and would rather protect abortion providers than sexual predators who victimized young girls.
First I must say I am impressed with your work!
Second I am "Pro-Choice"
Before you get yourselves into a tizzy let me explain:
I believe that the "Choice" is applied prior to the physical activities that are known to have a high probability of resulting in the creation of life.
That "Choice" is granted to us through "Free Will" of both Natural Law and Man-Made Law.
I do not support the murder of innocent lives.
I do support the killing of convicted murderers and child molesters and rapists and a few other crimes, enemies of our Country in times of War, and in our personal self-defense.
Uh, moms and dads, working together of course, have the power to give life. And taking a life when your life or the life of your loved one is threatened is perfectly fine, heck, I'd encourage it.
Some of your facts and assumptions are just plain screwy. Keep trying though, the blogosphere is a good place to work that kind of stuff out.
I assume you're completely against the death penalty?
Actually I am not against the death penalty. I am for protecting innocent life. A baby is innocent, while say a serial killer who is without a doubt 100% completely guilty of the crimes may be put to death. That murder gave up his life when he killed that person or those people.
